My name is O'mayra but please call me Maya.
I am a Quirky Single Mom, Entrepreneur, Life Purpose Coach, Crafter, Web Designer, World Traveler and a Storytelling Shutterbug.
​
Photography has been a huge part of my life and my journey into the art of visual storytelling. I first discovered photography at age 13 when I was gifted a Vintage 110 Flash Camera. I am not only inspired by the beauty, simplicity and mystery that surrounds us, but being able to capture something that's raw, that evokes different emotions, that unfolds on its own, makes the shot more meaningful. There is something unique and special about capturing a moment that can transport the viewers into a particular scene, ambience or a memory.

Despite being an amateur photographer, many of my images have been published in product advertisements, printed and online newspapers and travel magazines.
